HAKKO 373・374 Optional Parts Combination Table

It is necessary to have optional parts compatible with solder feeding system HAKKO 373 or 374
according to the soldering iron and solder diameter used.

• One-handed soldering

  Solder wire comes through a tube unit and a guide pipe assembly mounted on a soldering iron (handpiece).

• Two-handed soldering

  Feed solder wire with a Feeder pen.

One-handed soldering

Feed solder wire with a tube unit and a guide pipe assembly.

We recommend a bottom feed type newly introduced, for better workability.

• However, please use the conventional type when you want to solder with a special-shaped tip like a concave shape.

The HAKKO 373 and 374 do not accept lead-free solder 1.6 mm dia.

Lead-free solder, more rigid than usual Sn/Pb solder, does not go through smoothly due to greater friction resistance with the tube unit, and 1.6 mm dia. solder wire tends to be fed idly.

Two-handed soldering (with Feeder pen)

Solder wire can be fed automatically through a Feeder pen per time and speed pre-set.
It’s possible to use various soldering irons without regard to the type of soldering iron you use now.

• 2 Use the HAKKO 374 which meets the diameter of solder wire you use.
    If you want to change the diameter of solder wire, it is necessary to replace the Driving pulley assembly, the Following pulley assembly, and the Feed nozzle.
