Desoldering / Rework
A variety of models: Station types that ensure high safety for P.W.B. and components by using built-in transformers to provide low voltage and high isolation. Portable types that are easy to take along.
The FM series has excellent thermal recovery, and optional soldering irons can also be connected for soldering. Simple suction-type desoldering tools that do not need batteries are also available.
Variety of rework tools from hot air types that blow hot air to hot tweezers that apply heat directly without affecting nearby components. Other tools include preheaters (bottom heaters) that apply heat locally and jigs for a simple, low-cost SMD-BGA repair system.
Hot air blowers for SMD rework offers an optional use.
If a single nozzle is attached to the hot air blower for hot-air reworking, it can also be used for shrinking heat-shrink tubing. Compared to industrial-use dryers, the blow nozzle is smaller, so heat-shrink tubing can be shrunk without affecting surrounding areas. Bulk shrinking of heat-shrink tubing can also be done using the preheater (bottom heater).
