| A new soldering tip does not fit in the heating element! |
| The insertion pipe inside the soldering tip is burned onto the heating element. It has been caused by flux seeping into the inside of the soldering tip. Normally the insertion pipe does not easily come away from the soldering tip. |
| Can I make the HAKKO 936 (white station) ESD protective just by grounding it? | |
| Hakko defines the items whose enclosures are antistatic surface-treated as ESD protective products. Therefore, the HAKKO 936 is not regarded as an ESD protective product just by being grounded. | |

There is a problem with the soldering tip or connecting cord. First lightly sand the parts indicated in the illustration below with abrasive paper to remove dirt, and then measure the resistance again. |

If the resistance still exceeds 2Ω even after the removal of dirt, send the unit for repair. |
