What measures can I take when the tip to ground resistance exceeds 2Ω?
The measures to lower the resistance for the HAKKO 907/908 are different from those for the HAKKO 900S. Please perform maintenance using the following procedure.

	For HAKKO 907/908
There is a problem with the soldering tip or connecting cord. First lightly sand the parts indicated in the figure below with abrasive paper to remove dirt, and then measure the resistance again.

If the resistance still exceeds 2Ω even after the removal of dirt, send it for repair.

	For HAKKO 900S
There is a problem with the soldering tip, grounding washer or connecting cord. First lightly sand the parts indicated in the figure below with abrasive paper to remove dirt, and then measure the resistance again.

If the resistance still exceeds 2 even after the removal of dirt, send it for repair.
