Point 1 Pull out the plug from the wall socket if not using the soldering iron for a long time.
Point 2 If consumable parts such as the element cover, nut, etc. are oxidized, replace them with new parts.
Point 3 When placing the soldering iron on the iron holder during work, leave the tip applied solder.
Point 4 After work, be sure to apply new solder to the tip before storing.
Point 5 To prevent burning on, periodically loosen the nut and repeatedly insert and pull out the element cover and tip.
Point 6 Use only the specified tips.

Point 2. If consumable parts such as the element cover, nut, etc. are oxidized, replace them with new parts.

Using the soldering iron when not only the tip but also other parts are oxidized results in deteriorated heat transfer characteristics, preventing normal soldering.(In case that the tip is oxidized, refer to Point 1.)
