FT-710: Does the FT-710 brush need maintenance? When to replace the brushes?

Check brushes periodically to ensure they are in good condition for cleaning

While using, solder wastes are stuck in the brush little by little and they get bigger and increased.
Some fall off naturally, but soldering tips may have damaged if you keep using them with solder waste remained in the brush. Check the condition of the brush periodically and remove the waste with pliers or the like.

And gradually, the solder wastes are likely to remain even after performing maintenance.
Then, It is time to replace the brushes.

Also, if the brush tip is melted, it may be difficult to remove solder from the soldering tip.

The possible causes are shown below. In any case, the brush tip will be melted.
Check the brush periodically and replace it if the brush tip is melted.
