FT-710: Combinations of the FT-710 and iron holders

Is this unit an iron holder or a cleaner?

The FT-710 is a tip cleaner. Be sure to use it together with an iron holder.

If the tip is left inserted into the FT-710 even for a short while, the tip will be burnt black.

Do not leave the soldering iron in the FT-710 when both are switched on. Doing so will cause the tip to be burnt black as shown in the photo.

Be sure to use this cleaner together with an iron holder as shown above.

The following iron holders can be used as shown in the combination example A

FH-101 (Soldering station : FX-950)
FH-200 (Soldering station : FX-951, etc.)
FH-201 (Soldering station : FX-952)

When used with iron holders other than those above, the iron holder can be placed next to the FT-710 tip cleaner as shown in the combination example B.
