How to keep using the FV-310 for a long time

Four key points for long-time use

Point 1. Cooling down at least 90 seconds after use every time and 5 minutes for storage.

The heating element may break due to the high temperature of the heating wire if the unit is switched off immediately
after use. Make sure to cool down the unit for at least 90 seconds after use every time, and 5 minutes for storage.
Store the unit after confirming it cooled down enough.

Make sure to slide the switch to I 'Cool down' and cool the unit down at least for 90 seconds, and 5 minutes before storage.

II:
Hot air blow
(Approx.50 -530℃ for 110V,
 Approx.80-530℃ for 220-240V)
I:
Cold air blow
(Approx. 50℃ for 110V, 80℃ for 220-240V)
0:
OFF

Point 2. Be careful not to put an air outlet close to an object too much.

In case you put the air outlet close to an object too much, the temperature of the heating wire becomes too high due to heat accumulation and it may cause a heater failure.

Keep distance not to allow the temperature of heating wire to become too high due to the accumulation of hot air.
Keep a distance of 10cm or over for shrinking film with hot air. Otherwise, a film may break.

Point 3. Avoid dropping the unit or giving it a strong impact.

Ceramic material is used for the heating element.
Ceramic part can be broken by a strong impact, and it may cause defective insulation or heater failure.

Point 4. Do not use near flammable gases or in a dusty environment.

Heater wire inside the heating element glows and may catch fire.
Dust may affect badly to the motor or the fan.

When the switch is set to "II:Hot air blow", the heating wire becomes red-hot.
