Cautions about nozzles N51-01 and N51-05

Cautions about the nozzle N51-01 or N51-05 when using hot air rework station equipped with vacuum pick-up function.

Please note the following points when using the nozzle N51-01 or N51-05 with hot air rework stations FR-810B, FR-811, FR-702 which are equipped with vacuum pick-up function.

Outline of the new specifications

A pipe guard is attached to the nozzle inside preventing the vacuum pipe from blocking the space for hot air to come up.

New nozzle has a pipe guard inside. Therefore, it is impossible to attach it, in case the vacuum pipe is being extended.

How to distinguish the nozzles from appearance

Letter G is marked on the nozzle with the pipe guard.

If the previous N51-01 or N51-05 nozzle was attached to the hot air handpiece and the vacuum pipe was extended, a hot air passage was blocked and it may cause dangerous situation.
Please make sure to have the new version of N51-01 or N51-05 and do not use these nozzles without "G" mark.

Caution No.2 Vacuum pick-up function is inoperative

Vacuum pipe cannot be extended fully when the nozzle N51-01 or N51-05 is attached, and vacuum pick-up function is inoperative in such condition.

In case you have to use above nozzle, retract the vacuum pipe to the shortest length and never try to extend the vacuum pipe.

Be careful ! The vacuum pipe could be damaged if you would try to extend it by force.
