FT-710: Cleaning mechanism

How is a tip cleaned?

The cover functions as a switch. Only pressing it downward for approx.two seconds while inserting the tip end into the opening will cause the cleaning brush to start to rotate and clean.
The FT-710 tip cleaner has features that the tip can be cleaned for a shorter time. Cleaning the tip for a long time will cause the tip to be damaged adversely. In case of types D and K directional tips, clean them so that each surface comes in contact with the cleaning brush.

For the cleaning brush rotating timing and tip pulling timing, refer to the movie.
