Notice regarding to European RoHS compliant products

HAKKO products complied with European RoHS directive are indicated with HAKKO original marking shown on web sites and packages. However a HAKKO product is improperly indicated as RoHS compliant product. We have taken action to prevent similar occurrence. Please accept our deepest apologies for this matter.

We have found that cadmium, one of European RoHS substances, has been included in the grips of HAKKO CUTTING TOOL since April, 2008. Accordingly, the shipment halted temporarily. No affect on the human body in ordinary use. Please contact us anything regarding this matter.

*HAKKO CUTTING TOOL belongs to the category of the industrial tool which is not the target of European RoHS directive.
