 · Special coating solder pot

Special coating solder pot:The special coating is for getting a long life by preventing the corrosion of the solder pot. We confirmed that the special coating solder pot had five times longer life than the standard one by our anti-corrosion test. It effects on both lead-free solder and solder with lead (eutectic).
*Because the anti-corrosion test was done by our way, longevity of solder pot may be different according to the usage condition.

Parameter setting for solder
A timer function helps you keep tabs on how long the soldering pot has been in use, making it easy to judge the time for pot replacement.
* The composition of the solder is shown as a guide. Select the composition which is the most closest to the solder to be used.

Easy pot replacement
The pot can be easily replaced by just removing the screws. One unit can be used in various applications by changing pots for each solder type or by using pots of different sizes (50 x 50 or 75 x 75 square).

Operation

Notice when in use

The pot should be filled with the solder within 5mm (0.2 inch) from the top surface.
So, after using FX-301, please add the solder to the pot before turning the swich off.
If FX-301 is turned on with the solder filled with the pot only 6-12mm from the top surface, the molten small solder balls may spatter out of the pot right after the top surface of solder at the rim begins to melt.
The amount of solder in the solder pot
* Solder spatter prevention covers will be distributed free of charge until March 2008. See below for more information and application details.
