Tester for antistatic shoes
Both shoes and the human body can be simultaneously tested for static charge
The judgment based on JIST8103-specified standard values is indicated with a lamp and electronic sound
HAKKO 441B enables to control shoe wear, dirt and service conditions by classifying the JIS T8103 standard range into the following three levels:

How to use HAKKO 441B How to use HAKKO 441B
HAKKO 441B is easy to use. Put on antistatic shoes, stand on the test plate, and press the pad. The main unit can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall surface with the accessory mounting base.

How to use

Does HAKKO 441B affect pacemakers? Is it safe to use when pregnant?

HAKKO 441B applies a minute current to the body when measuring.
The affects that this minute current has on the body are currently not understood.
HAKKO 441B should therefore not be used by those with heart trouble or pacemakers, or by pregnant women.

Maintenance

When the judgment is LOW, possible causes could be:

  • The shoe sole is worn out;
  • A metal fragment is embedded in the shoe sole; or
  • There is dew condensation inside 441 or 441B.
  • Dew condensation occurs inside the tester if the tester is heated up rapidly because of a sudden temperature change such as moving from a cool place to a hot place in winter.
When the judgment is LOW


When the judgment is HIGH, possible causes could be:

  • Wearing heavy socks;
  • There are problems with the shoes or the shoe sole is dirty;
  • Dry hands; or
  • The cord asse'y is short-circuited or broken.
When the judgment is HIGH

If any of the above conditions don't apply to the case, the product is broken.
