1. Press the SELECT button to light up the mode indicator lamp of “TEMP”.

When not place the soldering tip on the measuring point, the room temperature is displayed.

2. Apply fresh solder to the soldering tip.

3. Place the soldering tip on the measuring point.

Place the soldering tip on the measuring point of the sensor.
Note：The method to place it depends on the shapes of soldering tips.

4. Wait until the displayed value is stable and read it.

Placing the tip on the measuring point horizontally enables
the correct temperature measurement.

Measuring Point of Sensor

♦ For the B type, I type and D type,
in the case of a soldering tip with standard solder plating, place the
center of the solder plating to the measuring point

♦ For the BC type and C type, in the case of a face with solder plating, place the plated face to the measuring point.
