 What kind of optional accessories are available?
Three optional accessories make the unit even easier to use.

A. Extension pipe; with the lid (product No.B3263)

If a large element is mounted on the lower side of the P.W.B. (refer to the following figure), the length from the hot air outlet to the P.W.B. is lengthened, causing the blowing air to be affected by air conditioning. Use this extension pipe to prevent the above effect. |

Please keep a gap between the hot air outlet and the PWB for more than 5mm to allow the air to flow. When there is not enough space for the air to flow, the fuse may blow up.

| Lid |
Use this lid when it is unnecessary to preheat using the HAKKO FR-820 but you want to use the hot-air rework system. The lid is used to prevent heated air from the hot-air rework system from re-entering the inside of the HAKKO FR-820.

Operating the HAKKO FR-820 unit with the lid placed on the extension pipe will cause a malfunction.

Even if the hand switch or foot switch is connected to the HAKKO FR-820, it is possible to switch the unit on and off using the “START/STOP button” on the main unit.
