The reasons the desoldering tool does not suck up solder well can be roughly classified as follows:

If solder is not completely melted: Click here.
If the sucking capability is reduced: Click here.


If solder is not completely melted: CASE1. The heat capacity from the nozzle end to the workpiece is insufficient.
CASE2.
The nozzle is deteriorated.
CASE3. The nozzle is not sufficiently heated.

If the sucking capability is reduced: CASE1. The nozzle is not sufficiently clean.
CASE2.
The heating element is not sufficiently clean.
CASE3. The filter pipe is not sufficiently clean.
CASE4. The vacuum outlet retainer is not sufficiently clean.
CASE5. The components of the pump section are deteriorated or are not sufficiently clean.
