| If the sucking capability is reduced, insufficient cleaning of the following 5 sections is assumed. |
Clean the heating element according to the following procedures.
*For HAKKO 808 and HAKKO 809 users, click here.
*For HAKKO 484 users, click here. |
Remove the nozzle and insert the cleaning pin for the heating element into the hole of heating element and scrape off any oxidation in it.
It is impossible to clean unless the hole of the heating element is sufficiently heated.

It is necessary to heat the nozzle before cleaning. The nozzle and other components are at high temperatures. Be sure to wear gloves and clean them carefully. |

[ Cautions after cleaning ]
Before reattaching the nozzle to the heating element, be sure to apply anti-seizure lubricant to the thread section of the heating element.
