1. Disconnect the hose and downstream parts (pen, bent nozzle and pad) from the station.

Disconnect the hose and downstream parts (pen, bent nozzle and pad) from the station.

< Hose and downstream parts (pen, bent nozzle, pad) >

2. Clean the pen and inside of hose with air blower. (Refer to Photos 2 and 3.)

Clean the pen and inside of hose with air blower.

3. Check the hose and pad for cracks, breaks, etc.

  • If a crack, break, etc. are observed in the hose: Replace the hose with a new one.
  • If a crack, break, etc. are observed in the pad: Replace the pad with a new one.
Bend the pad down slightly to check it for cracks, breaks, etc. < Station >

7. Check the internal hose for cracks, breaks, etc.

  • If cracks, breaks, etc. are observed in the internal hose: Replace the internal hose with a new one.

8. Return the cleaned filter to the inside of the internal hose.

Insert the filter with it positioned at the end of the internal hose (joint side). (Refer to Photo 7.)
When inserting the filter into the internal hose, be careful not to crush the filter. (Refer to Photos 8 and 9.)

  • If the internal hose is not equipped with a filter: Replace the internal hose with a new one.
Return the cleaned filter to the inside of the internal hose.

9. Insert the internal hose into the pump and joint. (Refer to Photo 10.)

Press-fit it fully to the end.
Be careful not to bend the hose. Bending the hose will reduce the suction force.
Insert the internal hose into the pump and joint.

10. Attach the cover to the chassis with 4 screws.

Be sure to attach the cover in the correct direction. (Refer to Photo 11.)
When the cover is attached in a correct direction, the cover protrudes slightly from the chassis as shown.

If the suction force is not recovered even after overhauling, it can be assumed that the pump has deteriorated.
In this case, it is recommended to send the unit in for repair.
