Overhaul procedure
If the suction force is reduced, overhaul the station according to the following procedures.
1. Disconnect the hose and downstream parts (pen, bent nozzle and pad) from the station.

< Hose and downstream parts (pen, bent nozzle, pad) >
2. Clean the pen and inside of hose with air blower. (Refer to Photos 2 and 3.)
3. Check the hose and pad for cracks, breaks, etc.
- If a crack, break, etc. are observed in the hose:
Replace the hose with a new one.
- If a crack, break, etc. are observed in the pad:
Replace the pad with a new one.

4. Loosen the 4 screws on both sides of the station to remove the cover. (Refer to Photo 4.)
5. Remove the internal hose from the pump and joint. (Refer to Photo 5.)

6. Remove the filter installed in the internal hose and remove the dust accumulated in the filter. (Refer to Photo 6.)
Clean the inside of the internal hose with an air blower, etc.
7. Check the internal hose for cracks, breaks, etc.
- If cracks, breaks, etc. are observed in the internal hose: Replace the internal hose with a new one.
8. Return the cleaned filter to the inside of the internal hose.
Insert the filter with it positioned at the end of the internal hose (joint side). (Refer to Photo 7.)
When inserting the filter into the internal hose, be careful not to crush the filter. (Refer to Photos 8 and 9.)
- If the internal hose is not equipped with a filter: Replace the internal hose with a new one.
9. Insert the internal hose into the pump and joint. (Refer to Photo 10.)
 |
|
Press-fit it fully to the end. Be careful not to bend the hose. Bending the hose will reduce the suction force. |
10. Attach the cover to the chassis with 4 screws.
 |
|
Be sure to attach the cover in the correct direction. (Refer to Photo 11.) |
If the suction force is not recovered even after overhauling, it can be assumed that the pump has deteriorated.
In this case, it is recommended to send the unit in for repair.
Send it to the place of purchase for repair. |
*We recommend that you should make sure that no abnormalities are found in the wrist strap before sending it in for repair.
*Clearly stipulate “repair only” or “repair and calibration” when sending it in for repair. |
