Maintenance Method for DASH/455/456 Soldering Irons

Case 1. The tip is not heated sufficiently.
|

The heating element deteriorates gradually during use, eventually resulting in breakage.Remove the nut, element cover, tip and nipple to check the resistance value.
|
If the resistance value is ∞, it indicates that the heating element is broken.
If the resistance value is not ∞, it indicates that the power cord has a broken wire.

Replace it with a new heating element. |

The power cord has a broken wire.
For the HAKKO DASH, HAKKO 455/456, we do not accept a repair request if the repair costs exceed the purchase price of a new product.
Note that there are some products that cannot be repaired even though they are well-liked.
