Point 1 Pull out the plug from the wall socket if not using the soldering iron for a long time.
Point 2 If consumable parts such as the element cover, nut, etc. are oxidized, replace them with new parts.
Point 3 When placing the soldering iron on the iron holder during work, leave the tip applied solder.
Point 4 After work, be sure to apply new solder to the tip before storing.
Point 5 To prevent burning on, periodically loosen the nut and repeatedly insert and pull out the element cover and tip.

Note that each part remains very hot shortly after soldering work is finished. Perform the following work after each part has sufficiently cooled down.
