Maintenance Method for the HAKKO 498
CASE1
The lamps are darker than usual.
Both lamps are lit at the same time.
Buzzer sound is weak or buzzer does not sound.
CASE2
The lamp is not lit and the buzzer does not sound.
CASE3
The HIGH lamp remains lit.
CASE 2. The lamp is not lit and the buzzer does not sound.
The P.W.B. may be defective.
If inside components are damaged due to strong impact such as dropping, no lamp is lit and the buzzer does not sound.
Even if the inside buzzer is just detached from the main body, the buzzer may not sound sometimes.
Send it to the place of purchase for repair.
*We recommend that you should make sure that no abnormalities are found in the wrist strap before sending it in for repair.
*Clearly stipulate “repair only” or “repair and calibration” when sending it in for repair.
