Activity policy

We at Hakko make the best effort to develop and provide Hakko-style products and services into which customers’ needs are properly fed back to enhance customer satisfaction and trust. Further, we aim to become a company that delights the people involved in Hakko and the people around Hakko as well as our employees under the vision of “the world's top corporate quality” and eternally develop ourselves as a corporation.

We must note that we ourselves as human beings can live only by receiving the blessings of nature. In other words, it is no exaggeration to say that we human beings and our society can continue to survive thanks to nature. However, it is well known that activities by human beings have damaged the irreplaceable natural environment. Our corporate activities as part of the activities of human beings cannot escape the charge of causing damage to nature. There is a limit to what we can do to conserve the global environment, but even with this in mind, we will strive our utmost to do our best to protect it.

In order to achieve this activity policy, all our company employees, including the representative director and president, will fulfill our corporate social responsibility (CSR) by constructing “environmental management” and “chemical substances control management" systems, operating them, and aggressively working to perform continuously improvements to increase their effectiveness and efficiency, to clarify responsibility and authority, and to establish standardized processes and operate and improve such processes.

Customers' viewpoint

  • We will develop products with good designs that are easy for customers to use and maintain.
  • We will conform thoroughly to product requirements.
  • We will strive to produce safe products by controlling the use of chemical substances.

Environmental viewpoint

  • We will strive to develop products taking the environment into consideration. We will use raw materials with the minimal possible environmental loads.
  • We will construct a system to periodically evaluate and reduce environmental loads that are generated by corporate activities and continuously improve the system to prevent environmental pollution.
  • For the following objectives, we will have the related departments set them as goals and carry out activities toward those goals.
    • Develop and produce environmentally friendly products.
    • Recycle by separation of wastes.
    • Reduce consumption of resources by increasing business efficiency.

Overall business process viewpoint

  • In addition to complying with official laws regarding quality, environment and chemical substances, we will strive to comply also with notices, guidelines, etc. from related industries and groups which we have agreed to.
  • We will provide in-house education and post the details regarding quality and environment policies so that all our employees understand and carry out such policies. Further, we will make our quality and environment policies public on the internet.
  • In order to align our quality and environment policy with our business orientation, we will review our policy through our management review.
